The Penn State University (PSU) Webmail IMAP server!

To access your PSU Webmail account using IMAP, you'll need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Enable IMAP

  1. Log in to your PSU Webmail account at webmail.psu.edu.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner and select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Scroll down to the "Account" section and click on "Edit" next to "IMAP Settings".
  4. Toggle the switch next to "Enable IMAP" to the "On" position.

Step 2: Configure your email client

  1. Open your email client (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Apple Mail) and go to the "Account Settings" or "Preferences" section.
  2. Click on "Add Account" or "New Account" and select "IMAP" as the account type.
  3. Enter the following settings:
    • Server: imap.webmail.psu.edu
    • Port: 993 (or 143 for non-SSL connection)
