Recall email on mac

The joys of trying to recall an email on a Mac!

To recall an email on a Mac, you'll need to use the "Undo Send" feature in the Mail app. Here's how:

Method 1: Using the "Undo Send" feature

1. Open the Mail app and go to the "Sent" folder.
2. Find the email you want to recall and click on it.
3. Click on the "Edit" menu and select "Undo Send" (or use the keyboard shortcut Command + Z).
4. If the email has already been sent, you'll see a warning message. Click "Undo" to recall the email.

Method 2: Using the "Recall" feature

1. Open the Mail app and go to the "Sent" folder.
2. Find the email you want to recall and click on it.
3. Click on the "Message" menu and select "Recall This Message" (or use the keyboard shortcut Command + Shift + R).
4. If the email has already been sent, you'll see a warning message. Click "Recall" to recall the email.

Important notes:

• The "Undo Send" feature only works if you've enabled it in your Mail settings. To do this, go to Mail > Preferences > General and check the box next to "Enable Undo Send".
• The "Recall" feature only works if the recipient has not yet opened the email.
• If the email has already been read or replied to, it's unlikely that you'll be able to recall it.
• Some email providers, such as Gmail, may not support email recall.
