Recently deleted email outlook

The frustration of accidentally deleting an important email in Outlook!

Don't worry, I'm here to help you recover your deleted email. Here are some steps to try:

Method 1: Check the "Deleted Items" folder

  1. Open Outlook and navigate to the "Deleted Items" folder (usually located in the "Folder" pane).
  2. Check if your deleted email is still present in the "Deleted Items" folder.
  3. If you find the email, you can restore it by dragging it back to the "Inbox" or any other folder you prefer.

Method 2: Use the "Recover Deleted Items" feature

  1. Go to the "File" menu and select "Info" > "Manage Accounts" > "Account Settings" > "Data Files".
  2. Click on the "Recover Deleted Items" button.
  3. Select the email account associated with the deleted email.
  4. Choose the date and time when the email was deleted.
  5. Outlook will display a list of recoverable items, including your deleted email. Select the email and click "OK" to restore it.

Method 3: Use the "PST File"

  1. If you have enabled the "PST File" (Personal Folders File) in Outlook, you can try recovering the deleted email from there.
  2. Go to the "File" menu and select "Open & Export" > "Export to a file".
  3. Choose the "PST File" format and select the location where you want to save the file.
  4. Open the exported PST file using a third-party email recovery software, such as EaseUS Email Recovery or Kernel for Outlook PST Repair.
  5. Use the software to scan the PST file and recover your deleted email.

Method 4: Contact your email provider

If none of the above methods work, you can contact your email provider's support team to see if they can recover your deleted email. They may have a backup of your email account that can be restored.

Remember to always be cautious when deleting emails in Outlook, and consider using the "Shift + Delete" keys to move an email to the "Deleted Items" folder instead of permanently deleting it.
