Report fake google email

If you suspect that a Google email account is fake or compromised, you can report it to Google using the following steps:

Method 1: Report the email account directly to Google

  1. Go to the Google Account Recovery page: https://accounts.google.com/signin/recovery
  2. Enter the email address you suspect is fake or compromised in the "Email" field.
  3. Click on "Next".
  4. Follow the prompts to provide more information about the account, such as the reason for reporting it (e.g. "I think this account is fake").
  5. Click on "Submit" to report the account.

Method 2: Report the email account to Google's Abuse Team

  1. Go to the Google Abuse Team page: https://support.google.com/abuse/contact/general_abuse
  2. Fill out the form with the following information:
    • Your name and email address (if you're reporting the account on behalf of someone else, you can use your own email address).
    • The email address you suspect is fake or compromised.
    • A brief description of the issue (e.g. "I think this account is fake and is being used for phishing/scamming").
    • Any additional information you think is relevant (e.g. screenshots, URLs, etc.).
  3. Click on "Submit" to report the account.

Method 3: Report the email account to your local authorities

If you believe the fake email account is being used for illegal activities, such as phishing, fraud, or harassment, you can also report it to your local authorities, such as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or your local police department.

Remember to always be cautious when dealing with suspicious emails or accounts, and never provide personal or financial information to unknown or unverified sources.
