Royal mail book redelivery
The frustration of missing a delivery!
If you've missed a delivery from Royal Mail and want to arrange a redelivery, here's what you can do:
Option 1: Online Redelivery
- Go to the Royal Mail website (www.royalmail.com) and sign in to your account.
- Click on "Track a parcel" and enter your tracking number.
- If your parcel is showing as "Out for delivery" or "Delivery attempted", you'll see an option to "Reschedule delivery".
- Choose a new delivery date and time that suits you.
- Confirm your new delivery details.
Option 2: Phone Redelivery
- Call Royal Mail's customer service team on 03457 740 740 (Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm).
- Provide your tracking number and the reason for missing the original delivery.
- Ask to arrange a redelivery for a specific date and time.
- Make sure to note down the new delivery details and any reference numbers provided.
Option 3: Visit a Post Office
- Take your parcel to your local Post Office and show your tracking number.
- Inform the Post Office staff that you missed the original delivery and would like to arrange a redelivery.
- They'll help you reschedule the delivery for a new date and time.
Important Notes:
- Redelivery is usually available for a limited time, so it's best to act quickly.
- If you're unable to receive your parcel at the new delivery time, you may need to collect it from your local Post Office or arrange an alternative delivery.
- Some parcels may not be eligible for redelivery, such as those with special handling requirements or those that are too large for redelivery.
