Royal mail change redirection

A convenient and useful service!

Royal Mail's Change of Address Redirection service allows you to redirect your mail to a new address while you're moving, without having to update your address with every sender individually. Here's how it works:

How to set up a Change of Address Redirection:

  1. Check if you're eligible: You can use this service if you're moving within the UK or to a European Union (EU) country.
  2. Choose your redirection period: You can select a redirection period of 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months.
  3. Provide your old and new addresses: Enter your current address (the one you're leaving) and your new address (the one you're moving to).
  4. Pay the fee: The cost of the redirection service varies depending on the length of the redirection period and the type of mail you want to redirect. The fees are as follows:
    • 3 months: £33.95 (standard) or £41.95 (express)
    • 6 months: £51.95 (standard) or £63.95 (express)
    • 12 months: £83.95 (standard) or £103.95 (express)
  5. Wait for your redirection confirmation: Once you've paid, Royal Mail will send you a confirmation email with your redirection reference number.
  6. Update your address with senders: You don't need to inform individual senders of your new address, as Royal Mail will forward your mail to your new address.
