Royal mail letter to santa
A classic tradition!
In the UK, Royal Mail offers a special service for children to send letters to Santa Claus. Here's how it works:
How to send a letter to Santa with Royal Mail:
- Write your letter to Santa Claus, making sure to include your name and address so Santa can reply.
- Place your letter in an envelope addressed to Santa Claus, North Pole.
- Take your letter to a Post Office that offers the Santa's Grotto service. You can find your nearest Post Office on the Royal Mail website.
- Give the letter to the Post Office staff, who will post it to Santa's Grotto at the North Pole.
- Royal Mail will then reply to your letter, usually within 5-7 working days, with a special letter from Santa.
Tips:
- Make sure to use a standard A4-sized envelope and a first-class stamp.
- You can also include a return address on the envelope so Santa can reply to you.
- If you're sending a letter to Santa, you can also include a small gift or a drawing to make it extra special.
- The Santa's Grotto service is available from mid-November to December 12th each year.
What to expect in the reply:
- Santa's reply will usually include a personalized letter, a special Santa's Grotto sticker, and sometimes even a small gift or treat.
- The reply will be sent from the North Pole and will be signed by Santa Claus himself.
Cost:
- The cost of sending a letter to Santa with Royal Mail is the same as sending a standard first-class letter, which is currently £0.85 (price subject to change).
