Royal mail post letter to santa
A classic tradition!
In the UK, Royal Mail offers a special service to help children send their letters to Santa Claus. Here's how it works:
Royal Mail's Santa Letter Service
- Write your letter to Santa Claus, making sure to include your name and address.
- Take your letter to a post office that offers the Santa Letter Service. You can find a participating post office by visiting the Royal Mail website and using their Post Office branch finder tool.
- Give the letter to the post office staff, who will help you address it to Santa Claus at the North Pole.
- The post office will then send your letter to Santa's special address at the North Pole, where it will be replied to by Santa's elves.
- The response will be sent back to you, usually within 5-7 working days.
Tips and Reminders
- Make sure to use a standard A4-sized envelope and a first-class stamp.
- Write your letter clearly and legibly, and include your name and address so Santa can reply to you.
- You can also include a return address on the envelope, in case Santa's elves need to send a reply.
- The Santa Letter Service is available from mid-November to December 14th each year.
- If you're sending a letter to Santa, you can also include a small gift or a donation to the Royal Mail's charity partner, Age UK.
Special Offers
- Royal Mail offers a range of special Santa-themed stamps and postmarks each year. Keep an eye out for these limited-edition items to make your letter to Santa even more special.
- Some post offices may also offer additional services, such as a special Santa-themed envelope or a personalized reply from Santa.
