A common issue!

If you're trying to track a missed delivery with Royal Mail, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Royal Mail website: www.royalmail.com
  2. Click on "Track a parcel" at the top of the page.
  3. Enter your tracking number (also known as a barcode) in the "Track a parcel" box.
  4. Click "Track" to see the status of your parcel.
  5. If your parcel is marked as "Missed Delivery", you'll see a message indicating that the delivery attempt was unsuccessful.
  6. You can then choose to:
    • Arrange a redelivery: Click on "Reschedule delivery" and select a new delivery date and time.
    • Collect from a local post office: Click on "Collect from a local post office" to find your nearest post office and collect your parcel.
    • Return to sender: If you're unable to collect your parcel, you can click on "Return to sender" to have it sent back to the sender.
