Ryerson gmail setup

To set up a Ryerson Gmail account, follow these steps:

Step 1: Create a Ryerson Gmail account

  1. Go to the Ryerson University website and log in to your MyRyerson account.
  2. Click on the "Student" or "Faculty/Staff" tab, depending on your status.
  3. Click on "Email" and then "Gmail" to create a new account.
  4. Fill out the required information, including your name, Ryerson username, and password.
  5. Click "Create account" to create your Ryerson Gmail account.

Step 2: Set up your Ryerson Gmail account

  1. Go to the Gmail website and sign in with your Ryerson Gmail account credentials (username and password).
  2. Set up your account by adding a profile picture, changing your password, and setting up two-factor authentication (2FA).
  3. Set up your email signature by clicking on the gear icon and selecting "See all settings."
  4. Click on the "Accounts and Import" tab and then click on "Add a signature."
  5. Enter your signature text and click "Save Changes."

Step 3: Configure your Ryerson Gmail account on your device

  1. To set up your Ryerson Gmail account on your mobile device, go to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and download the Gmail app.
  2. Open the app and sign in with your Ryerson Gmail account credentials.
  3. Follow the prompts to set up your account, including setting up 2FA and adding your account to your device.

Step 4: Set up your Ryerson Gmail account on your computer

  1. To set up your Ryerson Gmail account on your computer, go to the Gmail website and sign in with your Ryerson Gmail account credentials.
  2. Click on the gear icon and select "See all settings."
  3. Click on the "Accounts and Import" tab and then click on "Add a POP3 mail account."
  4. Enter your Ryerson Gmail account credentials and click "Add account."
  5. Follow the prompts to set up your account, including setting up 2FA and adding your account to your computer.
