Sandwell evening mail

The Sandwell Evening Mail was a local newspaper that served the Sandwell Metropolitan Borough in the West Midlands, England. It was published by the Birmingham Post and Mail group and was available in print and online.

The newspaper was launched in 1991 and was aimed at providing local news, sport, and features to the residents of Sandwell, which includes the towns of West Bromwich, Oldbury, Smethwick, and Rowley Regis. The Evening Mail was known for its in-depth coverage of local issues, including politics, education, health, and community news.

In 2012, the Birmingham Post and Mail group announced that it would be merging the Sandwell Evening Mail with its sister paper, the Birmingham Evening Mail, to create a single evening newspaper for the Birmingham area. The last edition of the Sandwell Evening Mail was published on March 29, 2012.

Although the newspaper is no longer in publication, its website remains active, providing archives of past articles and news stories.
