Sasktel.net email outlook
To set up your SaskTel.net email account in Outlook, follow these steps:
Step 1: Add a new account in Outlook
- Open Outlook and go to the "File" menu.
- Click on "Add Account" and then select "Manual setup or additional server types".
- Click "Next" and select "POP or IMAP" as the account type.
- Click "Next" and enter the following information:
- Your Name: Enter your name as you want it to appear in the "From" field.
- Email Address: Enter your SaskTel.net email address.
- Account Type: Select "POP3" or "IMAP" depending on your preference.
- Incoming mail server: Enter "mail.sasktel.net" as the incoming mail server.
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): Enter "mail.sasktel.net" as the outgoing mail server.
- User Name: Enter your SaskTel.net email address.
- Password: Enter your SaskTel.net email password.
Step 2: Configure the account settings
- Click "More Settings" and then select the "Outgoing Server" tab.
- Check the box next to "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication".
- Select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".
- Click "OK" to close the "Outgoing Server" tab.
- Click "Next" to continue with the setup process.
Step 3: Finish the setup
- Outlook will test the connection to your email account. If everything is set up correctly, you should see a success message.
