Save outlook email as calendar appointment
The convenience of saving an email as a calendar appointment in Outlook!
Here's how you can do it:
Method 1: Using the "Meeting" button
- Open the email you want to save as a calendar appointment.
- Click on the "Meeting" button in the top toolbar. It looks like a calendar icon.
- A new window will open with the email's subject and body as the meeting details.
- Fill in the meeting details as needed, such as the start and end time, location, and attendees.
- Click "Send" to save the email as a calendar appointment.
Method 2: Using the "Quick Steps" feature
- Open the email you want to save as a calendar appointment.
- Click on the "Quick Steps" button in the top toolbar. It looks like a small arrow icon.
- Click on "Create a meeting" from the dropdown menu.
- A new window will open with the email's subject and body as the meeting details.
- Fill in the meeting details as needed, such as the start and end time, location, and attendees.
- Click "Save" to save the email as a calendar appointment.
Method 3: Using the "Drag and Drop" method
- Open the email you want to save as a calendar appointment.
- Drag the email from the inbox to the calendar view (usually located on the left side of the Outlook window).
- Release the mouse button when the calendar view is highlighted.
- A new window will open with the email's subject and body as the meeting details.
