Save outlook email as calendar appointment

The convenience of saving an email as a calendar appointment in Outlook!

Here's how you can do it:

Method 1: Using the "Meeting" button

  1. Open the email you want to save as a calendar appointment.
  2. Click on the "Meeting" button in the top toolbar. It looks like a calendar icon.
  3. A new window will open with the email's subject and body as the meeting details.
  4. Fill in the meeting details as needed, such as the start and end time, location, and attendees.
  5. Click "Send" to save the email as a calendar appointment.

Method 2: Using the "Quick Steps" feature

  1. Open the email you want to save as a calendar appointment.
  2. Click on the "Quick Steps" button in the top toolbar. It looks like a small arrow icon.
  3. Click on "Create a meeting" from the dropdown menu.
  4. A new window will open with the email's subject and body as the meeting details.
  5. Fill in the meeting details as needed, such as the start and end time, location, and attendees.
  6. Click "Save" to save the email as a calendar appointment.

Method 3: Using the "Drag and Drop" method

  1. Open the email you want to save as a calendar appointment.
