Scam reporting email

Here is an example of a scam reporting email:

Subject: Report of Scam Attempt

Dear [Company/Authority],

I am writing to report a potential scam attempt that I recently encountered. On [date], I received an email/phone call/text message from [scammer's email/phone number] claiming to be from [company/organization]. The scammer claimed that I had won a prize/a refund/a gift card and asked me to provide personal and financial information to claim the prize.

The email/phone call/text message was suspicious because [insert reason why you suspected it was a scam, e.g. the email was poorly written, the phone number was unfamiliar, etc.]. I did not provide any personal or financial information and immediately blocked the scammer's contact information.

I am reporting this incident to you because I believe it is important to alert others to potential scams and to help prevent others from falling victim to similar scams. I have attached a copy of the email/phone call/text message for your reference.

If you have any further questions or would like to investigate this incident further, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]
