Schedule email delivery outlook
In Outlook, you can schedule email delivery to send an email at a later time or date. Here's how:
Method 1: Using the "Delay Delivery" feature
- Compose your email as you normally would.
- Click on the "Options" button in the "Tags" group of the ribbon.
- Click on "Delay Delivery" in the "More Options" section.
- Select the date and time you want the email to be sent from the calendar.
- Click "OK" to save your changes.
Method 2: Using the "Send Later" feature (Outlook 2013 and later)
- Compose your email as you normally would.
- Click on the "Send" button in the "Tags" group of the ribbon.
- Click on "Send Later" in the dropdown menu.
- Select the date and time you want the email to be sent from the calendar.
- Click "OK" to save your changes.
Method 3: Using the "Rules" feature
- Go to the "Home" tab in the ribbon.
- Click on "Rules" in the "Move" group.
- Click on "Manage Rules & Alerts" in the dropdown menu.
- Click on "New Rule" in the "Rules and Alerts" window.
- Select "Start from a blank rule" and click "Next".
- Choose "Delay delivery by a number of minutes" and click "Next".
- Enter the number of minutes you want to delay the email and click "Next".
- Choose the email account you want to apply the rule to and click "Next".
- Name the rule and click "Finish".
Note: The "Delay Delivery" feature is only available in Outlook 2010 and later versions. In earlier versions of Outlook, you can use the "Rules" feature to achieve similar results.
