The convenience of scheduling emails to send later in Outlook!

To schedule an email to send later in Outlook, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Using the "Delay Delivery" feature

  1. Compose your email as you normally would.
  2. Click on the "Options" button in the "Tags" group of the ribbon.
  3. Click on "Delay Delivery" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Select the date and time you want the email to be sent from the calendar.
  5. Click "OK" to save your changes.

Method 2: Using the "Send Later" add-in

  1. Install the "Send Later" add-in from the Microsoft Store or download it from the official website.
  2. Compose your email as you normally would.
  3. Click on the "Send Later" button in the ribbon.
  4. Select the date and time you want the email to be sent from the calendar.
  5. Click "OK" to save your changes.

Method 3: Using the "Rules" feature

  1. Go to the "Home" tab in the ribbon.
  2. Click on "Rules" in the "Move" group.
  3. Click on "Manage Rules & Alerts" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on "New Rule" and select "Start from a blank rule".
  5. Choose "Move messages from someone to a folder" and click "Next".
  6. Set the condition to "Delay delivery by a number of minutes" and specify the delay time.
  7. Click "Next" and then "Finish" to save your rule.

In all cases, the email will be sent at the scheduled time, even if you're not actively using your computer or Outlook.

Note: The "Delay Delivery" feature is only available in Outlook 2013 and later versions. If you're using an earlier version, you can use the "Rules" feature or the "Send Later" add-in as alternatives.
