The convenience of scheduled emails in Outlook!

In Outlook, you can schedule an email to be sent at a later time or date using the "Delay Delivery" feature. Here's how:

Method 1: Using the "Delay Delivery" feature

  1. Compose your email as you normally would.
  2. Click on the "Options" button in the "Tags" group of the ribbon.
  3. Click on "Delay Delivery" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Select the date and time you want the email to be sent from the calendar.
  5. Click "OK" to save your changes.

Method 2: Using the "Send Later" feature (Outlook 2013 and later)

  1. Compose your email as you normally would.
  2. Click on the "Send" button in the "Tags" group of the ribbon.
  3. Click on "Send Later" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Select the date and time you want the email to be sent from the calendar.
  5. Click "OK" to save your changes.

Method 3: Using the "Rules" feature

  1. Go to the "Home" tab in the ribbon.
  2. Click on "Rules" in the "Move" group.
  3. Click on "New Rule" and select "Start from a blank rule".
  4. Choose "Move messages from someone to a folder" and click "Next".
  5. Set the condition to "Delay delivery by a number of minutes" and specify the delay time.
  6. Click "Next" and then "Finish" to save the rule.

Once you've scheduled your email, it will be sent at the specified time or date. You can also use these methods to schedule recurring emails or send emails to specific folders.

Remember to always check the recipient's time zone and adjust the scheduled send time accordingly to ensure your email is delivered at the intended time.
