Search yahoo mail by year

Unfortunately, Yahoo Mail does not have a built-in feature to search emails by year. However, there are a few workarounds you can try:

Method 1: Use Yahoo Mail's built-in search filters

  1. Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
  2. Click on the "Search" button at the top of the page.
  3. In the search bar, type your search query (e.g., a keyword or sender's name).
  4. Click on the "Advanced" button next to the search bar.
  5. In the "Advanced Search" page, click on the "Date" dropdown menu and select "From" or "To" to specify the date range.
  6. Enter the year you're interested in (e.g., 2018) in the "From" or "To" field.
  7. Click "Search" to apply the filter.

Method 2: Use Yahoo Mail's "Labels" feature

  1. Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
  2. Click on the "Labels" button at the top of the page.
  3. Create a new label by clicking on the "New label" button.
  4. Name the label with the year you're interested in (e.g., "2018").
  5. Apply the label to the emails you want to search by checking the box next to each email and then clicking "Apply label".
  6. To search for emails with the label, go to the "Labels" page and click on the label you created.

Method 3: Use a third-party email client or add-on

  1. Install a third-party email client like Mozilla Thunderbird or Microsoft Outlook, which can connect to your Yahoo Mail account.
  2. Use the client's search function to search for emails by year. For example, in Thunderbird, you can use the "Search" button and select "Date" as the search criterion.
  3. Alternatively, you can use a browser extension like "Yahoo Mail Search" or "Email Search" that allows you to search your Yahoo Mail account by year.

Please note that these methods may not be as efficient or accurate as searching by year in a dedicated email client or service.
