Send e mail to fax
A blast from the past!
While it's not possible to send an email directly to a fax machine, you can use a few workarounds to send a fax from an email:
Method 1: Using a Fax Service
- Find a fax service that allows you to send faxes from your email. Some popular options include:
- eFax
- RingCentral
- FaxZero
- MyFax
- Sign up for an account with the fax service.
- Compose an email to the fax service's email address, using the following format:
[email protected]
(replaceyourfaxnumber
with your actual fax number andfaxservice.com
with the fax service's domain). - Attach the document you want to fax to the email.
- The fax service will receive the email and send the fax to the recipient's fax machine.
Method 2: Using a Fax App or Software
- Download and install a fax app or software on your computer or mobile device. Some popular options include:
- Adobe Acrobat
- Faxit
- FaxZero
- eFax
- Compose an email to the recipient's email address, attaching the document you want to fax.
- Use the fax app or software to send the email as a fax. This will convert the email into a fax and send it to the recipient's fax machine.
