Send email to multiple undisclosed recipients
The classic "blind carbon copy" (BCC) conundrum!
To send an email to multiple undisclosed recipients, you can use the "BCC" field in your email client. Here's how:
Method 1: Using the BCC field in your email client
- Open your email client (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail).
- Compose a new email.
- In the "To" field, enter the email addresses of the recipients you want to send the email to, separated by commas or semicolons.
- In the "BCC" field, enter the email addresses of the additional recipients you want to send the email to, separated by commas or semicolons. Note that the BCC field is usually hidden by default, so you may need to click on the "Show BCC" or "BCC" button to reveal it.
- Enter the email addresses in the BCC field, making sure to separate them with commas or semicolons.
- Click "Send" to send the email.
Method 2: Using the "To" field with multiple email addresses
- Open your email client (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail).
- Compose a new email.
- In the "To" field, enter the email addresses of the recipients you want to send the email to, separated by commas or semicolons.
- Enter multiple email addresses in the "To" field, making sure to separate them with commas or semicolons.
- Click "Send" to send the email.
Important notes:
- When using the BCC field, the recipients' email addresses will not be visible to each other.
- Some email clients may not support BCC fields or may have limitations on the number of recipients you can add.
- Be cautious when using BCC fields, as they can be used to send spam or phishing emails. Always ensure you're sending emails to legitimate recipients.
