Send mail as

You want to send an email as a specific person or entity. This is often referred to as "sending an email on behalf of" or "impersonating" someone.

To send an email as someone else, you'll need to use the "From" field in your email client or email service. Here's how to do it:

Gmail:

  1. Compose a new email.
  2. Click on the "From" dropdown menu.
  3. Select "Send email on behalf of" and enter the email address you want to send the email from.
  4. The recipient will see the email address you entered in the "From" field, but the email will still be sent from your Gmail account.

Outlook:

  1. Compose a new email.
  2. Click on the "From" field.
  3. Select "Other" and enter the email address you want to send the email from.
  4. The recipient will see the email address you entered in the "From" field, but the email will still be sent from your Outlook account.

Other email services:

The process is similar for other email services like Yahoo, AOL, or ProtonMail. You'll need to check your email service's documentation or settings to find the "From" field and the option to send an email on behalf of someone else.
