Send mail to undisclosed recipients

The infamous "To: undisclosed recipients" email!

In most email clients, you can't directly send an email to "undisclosed recipients" as a default option. However, there are a few ways to achieve a similar effect:

  1. BCC (Blind Carbon Copy): You can use the BCC field in your email client to send an email to multiple recipients without including their addresses in the "To" or "CC" fields. This way, the recipients won't see each other's email addresses. To do this:
    • In your email client, compose a new message.
    • Enter the email addresses of the recipients in the BCC field (usually denoted by a "BCC" button or a separate field).
    • Add the email content as usual.
    • Send the email.
  2. Use a mailing list or distribution list: If you have a mailing list or distribution list set up, you can add recipients to it and then send an email to the list. This way, the recipients will receive the email, but their email addresses won't be visible to each other.
  3. Use a third-party service: There are services like Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or Campaign Monitor that allow you to create and manage email lists, and then send emails to those lists. These services often provide features to hide recipient email addresses from each other.
  4. Use a script or automation tool: If you're comfortable with programming or automation tools, you can create a script or workflow that sends emails to multiple recipients without revealing their email addresses.

Remember to always follow email etiquette and best practices when sending emails to multiple recipients. Make sure you have the necessary permissions and consent from the recipients, and be mindful of spam filters and email deliverability.
