Set google mail as default email client

To set Google Mail as the default email client on your device, follow these steps:

For Android devices:

  1. Go to your device's Settings app.
  2. Scroll down and select Apps or Application Manager.
  3. Find the Google Mail app and select it.
  4. Tap the three vertical dots on the top right corner of the screen.
  5. Select Default apps.
  6. Tap Set as default next to Email client.
  7. Confirm that you want to set Google Mail as the default email client.

For iOS devices (iPhone/iPad):

  1. Go to your device's Settings app.
  2. Scroll down and select Mail.
  3. Tap Default Email App.
  4. Select Google Mail from the list of available email clients.
  5. Tap Back to save your changes.

For Windows devices:

  1. Right-click on the Start button and select System.
  2. Click on Default apps.
  3. Click on Email.
  4. Select Google Mail from the list of available email clients.
  5. Click OK to save your changes.

For macOS devices:

  1. Click on the Apple menu and select System Preferences.
  2. Click on General.
  3. Click on Default email reader.
  4. Select Google Mail from the list of available email clients.
  5. Click OK to save your changes.

Once you've set Google Mail as your default email client, it should open automatically when you click on email links or try to compose a new email from another app.
