Setup windows live mail to access twc email
To set up Windows Live Mail to access your Time Warner Cable (TWC) email, follow these steps:
Step 1: Create a Windows Live ID
If you don't already have a Windows Live ID, create one by following these steps:
- Open Windows Live Mail.
- Click on "Account" in the top menu bar.
- Click on "Add an email account".
- Click on "Manual setup or additional server types".
- Select "POP" or "IMAP" as the account type.
- Enter your TWC email address and password.
- Click "Next" and then "Finish".
Step 2: Configure Windows Live Mail to access TWC email
- Open Windows Live Mail.
- Click on "Account" in the top menu bar.
- Click on "View accounts".
- Right-click on the TWC email account and select "Properties".
- In the "Account" tab, enter the following settings:
- Account name: Your TWC email address
- Email address: Your TWC email address
- Server: pop.twc.com (for POP) or imap.twc.com (for IMAP)
- Port: 110 (for POP) or 143 (for IMAP)
- Username: Your TWC email address
- Password: Your TWC email password
- Click "OK" to save the changes.
Step 3: Set up the TWC email account in Windows Live Mail
- Open Windows Live Mail.
- Click on "Account" in the top menu bar.
- Click on "View accounts".
- Right-click on the TWC email account and select "Set as default".
- Click "OK" to save the changes.
Step 4: Verify the TWC email account in Windows Live Mail
- Open Windows Live Mail.
- Click on "Inbox" to check for new emails.
- If you see your TWC emails in the inbox, you're all set!
Note: If you're having trouble setting up your TWC email account in Windows Live Mail, you can try the following:
- Check your TWC email account settings to ensure that POP or IMAP is enabled.
- Verify that your TWC email password is correct.
