Shamaila khan

Shamaila Khan is a Pakistani-American food writer, chef, and entrepreneur. She is the founder of Honey & Co, a popular Middle Eastern-inspired restaurant in London, and has written a cookbook called "Sirocco: Fabulous Food from the Middle East & North Africa".

Khan was born in Pakistan and moved to the United States with her family at a young age. She grew up in New York City and developed a passion for cooking and food from a young age. She studied at the University of Pennsylvania and later attended the French Culinary Institute in New York City.

After working in several restaurants in New York City, Khan moved to London and opened Honey & Co in 2012. The restaurant quickly gained a reputation for its delicious and innovative Middle Eastern-inspired dishes, and has been praised by critics and diners alike.

Khan's cookbook, "Sirocco: Fabulous Food from the Middle East & North Africa", was published in 2019 and features recipes from her restaurant, as well as stories and anecdotes about her childhood and her experiences as a Pakistani-American woman in the food industry.
