Early Life and Education

Menk was born in 1975 in Harare, Zimbabwe. He completed his primary and secondary education in Zimbabwe before moving to South Africa to pursue his Islamic studies. He studied at the Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama in South Africa, where he graduated with a degree in Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh).

Career

After completing his studies, Menk returned to Zimbabwe and established the Imamia Islamic Seminary in Harare. The seminary provides Islamic education to students from Zimbabwe and other African countries. Menk is also the Mufti of Zimbabwe, a position he has held since 2003.

Menk has written several books on Islamic topics, including "The Companions of the Prophet" and "The Virtues of the Ahlul Bayt". He has also delivered lectures and sermons in various countries, including South Africa, Kenya, and the United States.

Awards and Recognition

Menk has received several awards and recognition for his contributions to Islamic education and scholarship.
