Sherif Ismail!

Sherif Ismail is an Egyptian politician who served as the Prime Minister of Egypt from 2015 to 2018. He was appointed by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in September 2015, following the resignation of Ibrahim Mahlab.

Before becoming Prime Minister, Ismail held various positions in the Egyptian government, including Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources from 2014 to 2015. He was also a member of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) and played a key role in the country's transition to democracy after the 2011 Egyptian revolution.

During his tenure as Prime Minister, Ismail focused on implementing economic reforms, including reducing subsidies and increasing taxes, to address Egypt's fiscal challenges. He also worked to improve the country's infrastructure, including transportation and energy sectors.

Ismail's government also faced several challenges, including security concerns, particularly in the Sinai Peninsula, and human rights issues. Despite these challenges, Ismail remained committed to his vision of a stable and prosperous Egypt, and his government made progress in areas such as economic growth and foreign investment.

After stepping down as Prime Minister in March 2018, Ismail returned to his position as Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, a role he held until 2020.
