Shopgirl you've got mail

Two of my favorite movies!

"Shopgirl" (2005) is a romantic comedy-drama film directed by Steven Spielberg, based on the novella of the same name by Steve Martin. The movie stars Claire Danes, Jason Schwartzman, and Steve Martin himself. The story follows Mirabelle Buttersfield (Danes), a shy and introverted shopgirl who falls in love with a wealthy businessman, Ray Porter (Martin).

"You've Got Mail" (1998) is a romantic comedy film directed by Nora Ephron, starring Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks. The movie is a modern retelling of the classic film "The Shop Around the Corner" (1940). The story follows two business rivals, Kathleen Kelly (Ryan) and Joe Fox (Hanks), who unknowingly fall in love with each other online, while their real-life businesses are competing against each other.

Both movies explore themes of love, identity, and the intersection of technology and human connection. While "Shopgirl" is a more introspective and melancholic film, "You've Got Mail" is a lighthearted and romantic comedy.
