Signature in apple mail
The convenience of digital signatures!
In Apple Mail, you can add a digital signature to your emails using the "Sign" feature. Here's how:
Method 1: Using the "Sign" button
- Compose a new email or reply to an existing one in Apple Mail.
- Click on the "Tools" menu and select "Sign" (or use the keyboard shortcut Command + Shift + S).
- A window will appear with a preview of your signature. You can customize the signature by adding text, images, or other elements.
- Click "Save" to save your signature.
- To apply the signature to your email, click on the "Sign" button again.
Method 2: Using the "Preferences" menu
- Open Apple Mail's preferences by clicking on "Mail" in the menu bar and selecting "Preferences" (or use the keyboard shortcut Command + comma).
- Click on the "General" tab.
- Scroll down to the "Signature" section.
- Click on the "Edit" button next to "Signature".
- A window will appear with a preview of your signature. You can customize the signature by adding text, images, or other elements.
- Click "Save" to save your signature.

Tips and Variations
- You can add multiple signatures by clicking on the "Edit" button next to "Signature" and then clicking on the "Add" button.
- You can also add a default signature that will be applied to all new emails.
- If you want to add a digital signature that includes your name, email address, and other contact information, you can use a third-party plugin like Spark or Sanebox.
- If you're using a Mac with macOS High Sierra or later, you can also use the "Sign" feature to add a digital signature to PDF files.
