Single space in outlook email

The age-old issue of single spacing in Outlook emails!

There are a few ways to achieve single spacing in Outlook emails:

Method 1: Use the "Format Text" option

  1. Compose your email as usual.
  2. Select the text you want to single-space.
  3. Go to the "Home" tab in the ribbon.
  4. Click on the "Format Text" button in the "Paragraph" group.
  5. In the "Format Text" dialog box, select "Line and Paragraph Spacing" from the left-hand menu.
  6. In the "Line and Paragraph Spacing" section, set the "Line spacing" to "Single" (1.0).
  7. Click "OK" to apply the changes.

Method 2: Use the "Paragraph" option

  1. Compose your email as usual.
  2. Select the text you want to single-space.
  3. Go to the "Home" tab in the ribbon.
  4. Click on the "Paragraph" button in the "Paragraph" group.
  5. In the "Paragraph" dialog box, set the "Line spacing" to "Single" (1.0).
  6. Click "OK" to apply the changes.

Method 3: Use the keyboard shortcut

  1. Compose your email as usual.
  2. Select the text you want to single-space.
  3. Press "Ctrl + 1" on your keyboard. This will apply single spacing to the selected text.

Method 4: Use the "Styles" option

  1. Compose your email as usual.
  2. Select the text you want to single-space.
  3. Go to the "Home" tab in the ribbon.
  4. Click on the "Styles" button in the "Styles" group.
  5. In the "Styles" dialog box, select "Normal" from the list of styles.
  6. In the "Normal" style, set the "Line spacing" to "Single" (1.0).
  7. Click "OK" to apply the changes.
