Sitemail netnation webmail

A blast from the past!

Sitemail, NetNation, and Webmail are all related to the early days of the internet and email.

Sitemail: Sitemail was a web-based email service that was launched in 1995 by Sitemail Corporation. It allowed users to access their email accounts through a web interface, without the need for a dedicated email client. Sitemail was one of the first web-based email services, and it was popular in the mid-to-late 1990s.

NetNation: NetNation was a web hosting company that was founded in 1995. It offered a range of services, including web hosting, email hosting, and domain registration. NetNation was known for its affordable pricing and user-friendly control panel.

Webmail: Webmail refers to email services that can be accessed through a web browser, rather than through a dedicated email client. Webmail services allow users to check their email, compose new messages, and manage their email accounts through a web interface.

In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Sitemail and NetNation were two of the most popular webmail services. However, they eventually lost popularity to newer webmail services like Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, and Gmail.

Today, Sitemail and NetNation are no longer in operation, and their domains are no longer active. However, their legacy lives on as a reminder of the early days of the internet and email.
