Sky email imap settings
To set up your Sky email account using IMAP, you'll need to use the following settings:
Server Settings:
- Incoming (IMAP) Server: imap.sky.com
- Port: 993
- Security: SSL/TLS
- Authentication: Password
Outgoing (SMTP) Server:
- SMTP Server: smtp.sky.com
- Port: 587
- Security: STARTTLS
- Authentication: Password
Additional Settings:
- Username: Your Sky email address (e.g., [yourname]@sky.com)
- Password: Your Sky email password
- IMAP Path Prefix: Leave this blank
Client-Specific Settings:
- Thunderbird: Go to Tools > Account Settings > Server Settings and enter the above settings.
- Outlook: Go to File > Account Settings > Manage Profiles > Show Profiles > [Your Profile Name] > Email Accounts > [Your Email Account] > More Settings > Advanced > Incoming Server > Use the following IMAP settings and enter the above settings.
- Apple Mail: Go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts > [Your Email Account] > Server Settings and enter the above settings.
- Android Email App: Go to Settings > Accounts > [Your Email Account] > Server Settings and enter the above settings.
Note: Make sure to enable IMAP in your Sky email account settings. You can do this by logging into your Sky email account, clicking on the gear icon, and selecting "Settings". Then, click on "Accounts" and toggle the "IMAP" switch to the "On" position.
