Sky email settings for outlook 365

To set up your Sky email account in Outlook 365, follow these steps:

Step 1: Add a new account in Outlook 365

1. Open Outlook 365 and click on the "File" menu.
2. Click on "Add Account" and then select "Manual setup or additional server types".
3. Click "Next" and select "POP or IMAP" as the account type.

Step 2: Enter your Sky email account settings

1. In the "User Information" section, enter your name and email address.
2. In the "Server Information" section, enter the following settings:
   • Incoming mail server: imap.sky.com
   • Outgoing mail server: smtp.sky.com
   • User Name: your Sky email address (e.g. [yourname]@sky.com)
   • Password: your Sky email password
3. Click "More Settings" and then click on the "Outgoing Server" tab.
4. Check the box next to "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" and select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".

Step 3: Finish setting up your account

1. Click "Next" and then click "Finish" to complete the setup process.
2. Outlook 365 will now try to connect to your Sky email account. If everything is set up correctly, you should see a success message.

• Make sure to use the correct email address and password for your Sky email account.
• If you're having trouble connecting, try checking your internet connection and firewall settings.
• You can also try setting up your Sky email account in Outlook 365 using the automatic setup option, but this may not work if your Sky email account is not set up for automatic configuration.
