Skype voice mail
Skype voicemail is a feature that allows you to leave a voice message for someone who is not available to take a call. Here's how it works:
Receiving a voicemail:
- When someone calls you on Skype and you're not available to answer, they can leave a voicemail message.
- The voicemail message will be recorded and stored in your Skype account.
- You'll receive an email notification with a link to listen to the voicemail message.
Listening to voicemails:
- Log in to your Skype account on the web or mobile app.
- Click on the "Voicemail" tab in the top navigation menu.
- You'll see a list of all your voicemail messages, including the caller's name, date, and time.
- Click on a voicemail message to listen to it.
Managing voicemails:
- You can delete voicemail messages by clicking the "Delete" button next to each message.
- You can also mark voicemail messages as "Unread" or "Read" to keep track of which ones you've listened to.
- Skype also allows you to forward voicemail messages to other Skype users or save them to your computer.
Voicemail settings:
- You can customize your voicemail settings by going to the "Settings" menu in your Skype account.
- Under "Voicemail", you can choose to receive voicemail notifications, set a voicemail greeting, and more.
Voicemail greeting:
- You can record a custom voicemail greeting by clicking the "Record a greeting" button in the "Voicemail" settings.
- You can choose to record a greeting in your preferred language and set it to play automatically when someone calls you and you're not available.
Overall, Skype voicemail is a convenient way to stay connected with others even when you're not available to take a call.
