Slu.edu email 365

To set up a SLU.edu email account on Microsoft Outlook 365, follow these steps:

Step 1: Sign in to your SLU.edu email account

  1. Go to the SLU.edu email login page and sign in with your SLU username and password.
  2. Click on the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear icon) in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Click on "View all Outlook settings" from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Set up Outlook 365

  1. Click on the "Mail" tab on the left side of the page.
  2. Click on "Account" and then click on "Manage accounts" or "Add account".
  3. Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next".
  4. Select "POP or IMAP" and click "Next".
  5. Enter the following settings:
    • Your name: Your full name as you want it to appear in your email signature.
    • Email address: Your SLU.edu email address.
    • POP3 server: pop.slu.edu
    • POP3 port: 110
    • IMAP server: imap.slu.edu
    • IMAP port: 143
    • Username: Your SLU username (without the "@slu.edu" part).
    • Password: Your SLU password.
  6. Click "Next" and then click "Finish".

Step 3: Set up Outlook 365 to sync with your SLU.edu email account

  1. Go back to the Outlook 365 homepage.
  2. Click on the "File" tab and then click on "Account Settings".
  3. Click on "Account Options" and then select "Sync email, contacts, and calendar".
  4. Select the "Sync email" option and set the sync frequency to "Every 15 minutes" or "Every 30 minutes".
  5. Click "OK" to save your changes.

Step 4: Set up your SLU.edu email account on your mobile device

  1. Open the Outlook app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap on the "Add account" button.
  3. Select "Exchange" or "Office 365" and enter your SLU.edu email address.
  4. Enter your SLU username and password.
  5. Tap "Sign in" to complete the setup process.

That's it! Your SLU.edu email account should now be set up on Microsoft Outlook 365.
