Start mailbox assistant
To start the Mailbox Assistant, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the Microsoft Outlook App
- Open the Microsoft Outlook app on your device.
- Click on the "Mail" tab at the top of the screen.
- Click on the "Mailbox" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select "Mailbox Assistant" from the dropdown menu.
- The Mailbox Assistant will start and begin processing your emails.
Method 2: Using the Microsoft Outlook Web App
- Open a web browser and navigate to the Microsoft Outlook Web App (OWA) website.
- Sign in to your Outlook account.
- Click on the "Mail" tab at the top of the screen.
- Click on the "More" menu (represented by three dots) at the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select "Mailbox Assistant" from the dropdown menu.
- The Mailbox Assistant will start and begin processing your emails.
Method 3: Using the Windows Taskbar
- If you're using a Windows device, you can also start the Mailbox Assistant by searching for "Mailbox Assistant" in the Windows search bar.
- Click on the "Mailbox Assistant" result to open the app.
- The Mailbox Assistant will start and begin processing your emails.
Once the Mailbox Assistant is started, it will begin processing your emails and performing tasks such as:
- Moving emails to folders
- Deleting spam emails
- Marking important emails as read
- Suggesting replies to emails
- And more!
Note: The Mailbox Assistant is only available in Microsoft Outlook 2016 and later versions. If you're using an earlier version of Outlook, you may not have access to this feature.
