Stetson email settings

Stetson University uses Microsoft Exchange as its email platform. Here are the email settings you may need to configure your email client:

Incoming Mail Server:

• Server name: outlook.office365.com
• Port: 993
• Encryption: SSL/TLS
• Authentication: SSL/TLS

Outgoing Mail Server:

• Server name: outlook.office365.com
• Port: 587
• Encryption: TLS
• Authentication: TLS

Username and Password:

• Your Stetson University email address (e.g., [yourname]@stetson.edu)
• Your Stetson University email password

Additional Settings:

• IMAP: Enable IMAP to access your email from your email client.
• SMTP Authentication: Enable SMTP authentication to send emails from your email client.
• SSL/TLS: Enable SSL/TLS encryption to secure your email connection.

Email Client Settings:

• For Microsoft Outlook:
  • Account type: Exchange
  • Server: outlook.office365.com
  • Port: 993 (Incoming) and 587 (Outgoing)
  • Authentication: SSL/TLS
• For Mozilla Thunderbird:
  • Account type: IMAP
  • Server: outlook.office365.com
  • Port: 993 (Incoming) and 587 (Outgoing)
  • Authentication: SSL/TLS
• For Apple Mail:
  • Account type: Exchange
  • Server: outlook.office365.com
  • Port: 993 (Incoming) and 587 (Outgoing)
  • Authentication: SSL/TLS
