Stetson email setup account

To set up a Stetson email account, you'll need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to the Stetson University Email Portal

  1. Open a web browser and navigate to https://email.stetson.edu.
  2. Click on the "Login" button at the top right corner of the page.

Step 2: Enter Your Credentials

  1. Enter your Stetson University username (your first initial and last name, followed by your student ID number, e.g., "jdoe1234").
  2. Enter your password (the same one you use for other Stetson University online services).

Step 3: Set Up Your Email Account

  1. Once you've logged in, you'll be taken to your Stetson email inbox.
  2. Click on the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear icon) at the top right corner of the page.
  3. Click on "Account" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Scroll down to the "Account Settings" section.
  5. Enter your name, email address, and other contact information as desired.
  6. Click "Save Changes" to save your settings.

Step 4: Set Up Your Email Client (Optional)

If you want to access your Stetson email using an email client like Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird, you'll need to set up your account manually. Here are the steps:

  1. Open your email client and go to the "Accounts" or "Settings" section.
  2. Click on "Add Account" or "New Account".
  3. Select "IMAP" or "POP" as the account type (depending on your email client).
  4. Enter the following settings:
    • Server: imap.stetson.edu (for IMAP) or pop.stetson.edu (for POP)
    • Port: 993 (for IMAP) or 110 (for POP)
    • Username: your Stetson University username
    • Password: your Stetson University password
  5. Click "Next" or "Finish" to complete the setup process.
