The postal services in Taiwan are provided by Chunghwa Post (, Zhōng Huá Yǔ Bīn). Here are the current mail fees for sending letters and packages from Taiwan:
Letters
- Domestic (within Taiwan):
- Up to 20g: NT$5 (approximately USD $0.17)
- 21-50g: NT$7 (approximately USD $0.23)
- 51-100g: NT$10 (approximately USD $0.33)
- International:
- Up to 20g: NT$30-50 (approximately USD $1-1.67)
- 21-50g: NT$40-60 (approximately USD $1.33-2)
- 51-100g: NT$60-80 (approximately USD $2-2.67)
Packages
- Domestic (within Taiwan):
- Up to 500g: NT$20-30 (approximately USD $0.67-1)
- 501-1000g: NT$30-40 (approximately USD $1-1.33)
- 1001-2000g: NT$50-60 (approximately USD $1.67-2)
- International:
- Up to 500g: NT$100-150 (approximately USD $3.33-5)
- 501-1000g: NT$150-200 (approximately USD $5-6.67)
- 1001-2000g: NT$250-300 (approximately USD $8.33-10)
Other Services
- Registered Mail: NT$10-20 (approximately USD $0.33-0.67) extra
- Insurance: NT$10-100 (approximately USD $0.33-3.33) extra, depending on the value of the item
- Express Mail: NT$50-100 (approximately USD $1.67-3.33) extra, depending on the weight and destination
