Talktalk mail settings
To set up your TalkTalk email account, you'll need to configure your email client or mobile device with the following settings:
Incoming Mail Server:
- Server name: mail.talktalk.co.uk
- Port: 995 (SSL/TLS)
- Username: Your TalkTalk email address (e.g., [yourname]@talktalk.co.uk)
- Password: Your TalkTalk email password
Outgoing Mail Server:
- Server name: mail.talktalk.co.uk
- Port: 587 (TLS)
- Username: Your TalkTalk email address (e.g., [yourname]@talktalk.co.uk)
- Password: Your TalkTalk email password
Additional Settings:
- Authentication: Use the same username and password for both incoming and outgoing servers.
- SSL/TLS: Enable SSL/TLS encryption for both incoming and outgoing servers.
- IMAP: If you're using an email client, you may need to enable IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) to access your email account.
Mobile Device Settings:
- For Android devices:
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Add account > Email
- Enter your TalkTalk email address and password
- Select "Manual setup"
- Enter the incoming and outgoing server settings above
- For iOS devices:
- Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add account > Other
- Enter your TalkTalk email address and password
- Select "IMAP" as the account type
- Enter the incoming and outgoing server settings above
Webmail Access:
- You can also access your TalkTalk email account through the webmail interface at www.talktalk.co.uk/webmail.
- Log in with your TalkTalk email address and password to access your email account.
