Talktalk mail settings for outlook
To set up TalkTalk email account in Outlook, you'll need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Add a new account in Outlook
- Open Outlook and go to the "File" menu.
- Click on "Add Account" and then select "Manual setup or additional server types".
- Choose "POP or IMAP" and click "Next".
Step 2: Enter your account settings
- In the "User Information" section, enter your name and email address.
- In the "Server Information" section, enter the following settings:
- "Incoming mail server" (POP3): pop.talktalk.co.uk
- "Outgoing mail server" (SMTP): smtp.talktalk.co.uk
- "User Name": your TalkTalk email address (e.g., [yourname]@talktalk.co.uk)
- "Password": your TalkTalk email password
- Click "Next" to continue.
Step 3: Configure your account settings
- In the "Outgoing Server" section, select the checkbox next to "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication".
- Select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".
- Click "Next" to continue.
Step 4: Finish setting up your account
- Review your account settings to ensure everything is correct.
