To change your password in Thunderbird, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Change password through Thunderbird
- Open Thunderbird and go to the "Account Settings" window. You can do this by clicking on the "Edit" menu and selecting "Account Settings" or by pressing

(Mac). - In the "Account Settings" window, select the account you want to change the password for from the list of accounts on the left side of the window.
- Click on the "Server Settings" button next to the account name.

- Enter your current password, then enter and confirm your new password.
- Click "OK" to save the changes.
Method 2: Change password through your email provider
- Go to your email provider's website and sign in with your current password.
- Look for the "Account" or "Settings" section and click on it.
- Find the "Password" or "Security" section and click on it.
- Follow the instructions to change your password.
- Once you've changed your password, go back to Thunderbird and try to log in with your new password.
Tips
- If you're using a POP3 or IMAP account, you may need to update your password in Thunderbird separately for each account.
