To and from mail
You're referring to the "To" and "From" fields in an email!
The "To" field is used to specify the recipient(s) of the email, and the "From" field is used to specify the sender's email address.
Here's a breakdown of what each field typically contains:
To:
- One or more email addresses of the intended recipient(s)
- Can be a single email address or a list of email addresses separated by commas or semicolons
- Can also include email addresses of CC (carbon copy) recipients, who will receive a copy of the email but are not the primary recipient
From:
- The email address of the sender
- Typically the email address associated with the sender's account or identity
- Can be a personal email address or a company email address, depending on the sender's preferences
When you compose an email, you'll usually fill in the "To" field with the email address(es) of the person(s) you want to send the email to, and the "From" field with your own email address.
