Track & trace royal mail
Royal Mail's Track and Trace service allows you to track the progress of your parcels and letters. Here's how to use it:
Online Tracking
- Go to Royal Mail's website: www.royalmail.com
- Click on "Track a parcel" at the top of the page.
- Enter your tracking number (also known as a barcode) in the box provided.
- Click "Track" to see the latest updates on your parcel's journey.
Mobile App
- Download the Royal Mail app from the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices).
- Open the app and tap "Track a parcel".
- Enter your tracking number and tap "Track".
- The app will show you the latest updates on your parcel's journey.
Tracking Information
When you track your parcel, you'll see information such as:
- The current location of your parcel
- The date and time it was scanned
- The status of your parcel (e.g. "In transit", "Delivered", "Out for delivery")
- Any issues or delays with your parcel
Tracking Numbers
Make sure you have the correct tracking number to track your parcel. You can find the tracking number on:
- The dispatch note or receipt provided by the sender
- The Royal Mail website or app
- The packaging or label on your parcel
Tips
- Tracking numbers are usually 13 characters long, but can be up to 20 characters long for international parcels.
