Tulane email setup free

To set up your Tulane email account for free, follow these steps:

Step 1: Create a Tulane email account

If you haven't already, create a Tulane email account by going to the Tulane University website and following these steps:

1. Go to www.tulane.edu
2. Click on "MyTulane" at the top right corner of the page
3. Log in with your Tulane username and password
4. Click on "Student" or "Faculty/Staff" depending on your affiliation
5. Click on "Email" and follow the prompts to create your account

Step 2: Set up your email client

To set up your Tulane email account in your email client, follow these steps:

For Outlook:

1. Open Outlook and go to "File" > "Add Account"
2. Select "Manual setup or additional server types"
3. Choose "POP or IMAP" and click "Next"
4. Enter the following settings:
   • Your Name: Your name as you want it to appear in your email
   • Email Address: Your Tulane email address (e.g. [email protected])
   • POP3 Server: pop.tulane.edu
   • POP3 Port: 110
   • IMAP Server: imap.tulane.edu
   • IMAP Port: 143
   • Username: Your Tulane username
   • Password: Your Tulane password
5. Click "Next" and then "Finish"

For Gmail:

1. Open Gmail and go to "Settings" (gear icon)
2. Click on "Accounts and Import"
3. Click on "Add a POP3 mail account"
4. Enter the following settings:
   • Your Name: Your name as you want it to appear in your email
   • Email Address: Your Tulane email address (e.g. [email protected])
   • POP Server: pop.tulane.edu
   • POP Port: 110
   • Username: Your Tulane username
   • Password: Your Tulane password
5. Click "Add account"

For Other Email Clients:

If you're using a different email client, such as Mozilla Thunderbird or Apple Mail, you can use the following settings:

• Server: pop.tulane.edu
• Port: 110
• Username: Your Tulane username
• Password: Your Tulane password

Step 3: Verify your account

After setting up your email client, you may need to verify your account by clicking on a link sent to your email address. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the verification process.
