Tweetmail

A blast from the past!

Tweetmail is a service that allows you to send and receive email messages directly from Twitter. It was launched in 2008 and was popular among Twitter users who wanted to keep their email and Twitter accounts connected.

Here's how it worked:

  1. You would sign up for a Tweetmail account and link it to your Twitter account.
  2. When you sent an email to a Tweetmail address, it would be converted into a tweet and sent to your Twitter followers.
  3. When someone replied to your tweet, it would be converted back into an email and sent to your inbox.

Tweetmail was a convenient way to manage your email and Twitter accounts in one place, but it was eventually discontinued in 2012.
