U of t mail outlook

To access your University of Toronto (U of T) email account using Outlook, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the University of Toronto's email portal: https://mail.utoronto.ca
  2. Log in with your U of T email address and password. Your email address is usually in the format of [yourUTORid]@mail.utoronto.ca.
  3. Once you're logged in, you'll be taken to the Outlook web app. You can use the Outlook web app to access your email, calendar, and contacts.
  4. To access your email using the Outlook desktop application, you'll need to set up Outlook on your computer. Here's how:
    • For Windows:
      • Open Outlook and click on "File" > "Add Account".
      • Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next".
      • Select "POP or IMAP" and click "Next".
      • Enter the following settings:
        • Account type: IMAP
        • Incoming mail server: mail.utoronto.ca
        • Outgoing mail server: mail.utoronto.ca
        • User name: yourUTORid
        • Password: your password
      • Click "Next" and then "Finish".
    • For Mac:
      • Open Outlook and click on "Outlook" > "Preferences" > "Accounts".
      • Click on the "+" button to add a new account.
      • Select "IMAP" and click "Continue".
      • Enter the following settings:
        • Account type: IMAP
        • Incoming mail server: mail.utoronto.ca
        • Outgoing mail server: mail.utoronto.ca
        • User name: yourUTORid
        • Password: your password
      • Click "Create" and then "OK".

Note: Make sure to use your U of T email address and password to log in to Outlook. If you're having trouble accessing your email, you can contact the U of T's IT Services department for assistance.
