UALR Email and Outlook!

UALR (University of Arkansas at Little Rock) uses Microsoft Outlook as its official email client. Here's a quick guide to help you get started:

Setting up UALR Email in Outlook

  1. Create a UALR email account: If you're a new student or employee, you'll need to create a UALR email account. You can do this by visiting the UALR IT website and following the instructions.
  2. Download and install Outlook: You can download Outlook from the Microsoft website or use the version provided by UALR IT.
  3. Configure Outlook: Open Outlook and follow these steps:
    • Go to File > Add Account.
    • Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next".
    • Choose "Microsoft Exchange" and click "Next".
    • Enter your UALR email address and password, and click "Next".
    • Select the "Use the following URL to connect to my mailbox" option and enter the following information:
      • Server: outlook.ualr.edu
      • User Name: your UALR email address
      • Password: your UALR email password
    • Click "Next" and then "Finish".

Using UALR Email in Outlook

  1. Access your UALR email: Once you've set up Outlook, you can access your UALR email by clicking on the "Mail" button in the top left corner of the Outlook window.
  2. Compose and send emails: You can compose and send emails using the Outlook interface. You can also use the "To" field to add recipients, and the "CC" field to add carbon copies.
  3. Manage your email folders: You can create and manage folders to organize your emails. You can also use the "Search" function to find specific emails.
