Here are the steps to link an Outlook account to a UJ (University of Johannesburg) email account:

Method 1: Using Outlook Web App

  1. Go to the Outlook Web App (outlook.office.com) and sign in with your UJ email address and password.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner and select "View all Outlook settings".
  3. Scroll down to the "Accounts" section and click on "Linked accounts".
  4. Click on "Add a linked account" and select "Office 365" or "Exchange".
  5. Enter your UJ email address and password, and click "Sign in".
  6. You will be redirected to the UJ login page. Enter your UJ username and password, and click "Login".
  7. You will be redirected back to the Outlook Web App, where you should see your UJ email account linked to your Outlook account.

Method 2: Using Outlook Desktop App

  1. Open the Outlook desktop app on your computer.
  2. Click on "File" > "Add Account".
  3. Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next".
  4. Select "Office 365" or "Exchange" and click "Next".
  5. Enter your UJ email address and password, and click "Next".
  6. You will be prompted to enter the server settings. The settings are:
    • Server: outlook.office365.com
    • User Name: your UJ email address
    • Password: your UJ email password
    • Authentication: NTLM
  7. Click "Finish" to complete the setup.

Method 3: Using Outlook Mobile App

  1. Open the Outlook mobile app on your device.
  2. Tap on the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear icon) and select "Accounts".
  3. Tap on "Add account" and select "Office 365" or "Exchange".
  4. Enter your UJ email address and password, and tap "Sign in".
  5. You will be redirected to the UJ login page. Enter your UJ username and password, and tap "Login".
  6. You will be redirected back to the Outlook mobile app, where you should see your UJ email account linked to your Outlook account.

Once you have linked your UJ email account to your Outlook account, you should be able to access your UJ email from within the Outlook app or web app.
