Umkc email sign in outlook

To sign in to your UMKC email account using Outlook, follow these steps:

  1. Open Outlook on your computer or mobile device.
  2. Click on the "File" menu and select "Add Account" or "Account Settings" (depending on the version of Outlook you're using).
  3. Click on "Manual setup or additional server types" and select "POP or IMAP" as the account type.
  4. Enter the following information:
    • Your name: Enter your name as you want it to appear in your email signature.
    • Email address: Enter your UMKC email address in the format of [your username]@umkc.edu.
    • Password: Enter your UMKC password.
    • POP3 Server: Enter "mail.umkc.edu" as the POP3 server.
    • Port: Enter "110" as the POP3 port.
    • IMAP Server: Enter "mail.umkc.edu" as the IMAP server.
    • Port: Enter "143" as the IMAP port.
  5. Click "Next" to continue.
  6. You will be prompted to enter your account information again. Enter the same information as before.
  7. Click "Finish" to complete the setup process.

Alternatively, you can also use the following steps to sign in to your UMKC email account using Outlook:

  1. Open Outlook on your computer or mobile device.

  3. Click on "Office 365" or "Exchange" as the account type.
  4. Enter the following information:

    • Password: Enter your UMKC password.
  5. Click "Next" to continue.
  6. You will be prompted to enter your account information again. Enter the same information as before.
  7. Click "Finish" to complete the setup process.
